On November 14, Whole Life Times was thrilled to be able to send five pairs of lottery winners to an evening of musical bliss with kirtan singers Deva Premal and Miten. Below are some of their thoughts. Thanks to all for participating!
They are FABULOUS!
~Elena Upton
Thank you for providing us with the opportunity to attend a concert that we otherwise would not even have known about. Having no idea what to expect, I was so pleasantly enthralled by the beautiful sounds and the inspired talent of each of the performers. Deva’s voice is lovely and penetrating. The sincere humility of the musicians mixed with their contagious love of performing left me feeling joyful, peaceful and intrigued. The evening was a unique and gratifying experience for me.
Again, many thanks.

I’ve never been to a concert like this—a beautiful expression of oneness and peace, and one so entirely inclusive of all who were there that night. Thank you for exposing me to these artists, their music and teachings. I remember at one point in the show when Deva (somewhat humorously) remarked “Nothing is permanent.” But the memory of this experience has stayed with me, and will surely do so for a long time.
In gratitude,
~Jim Hanson
I didn’t know what to expect, but Deva Premal, Miten and Manose in concert was a moving and electrifying event. Their uplifting, inspiring and beautiful music unified everyone there in a palpable way. The audience was led in chanting, and each piece was followed by a great silence to absorb what had just transformed the room. It felt like good church. Or as someone in the audience commented, a “cosmic yes.” Many thanks to Whole Life Times for the tickets!
Shanti,
~Rachel York-Bridgers
