This incredibly simple bourbon pecan pie whips up in minutes and makes a delicious (if slightly decadent) Thanksgiving dessert.
Recipe by Morgan Simons, Pi Bake Shop
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup maple syrup
3 eggs, beaten
1 tablespoon bourbon
3 cup pecans
1 unbaked 9-inch pie shell (homemade or store bought)
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
2. Combine all ingredients well.
3. Pour into pie shell and bake for 1 hour or until firm when shaken.
Serve warm or cool, topped with ice cream, whipped cream or creme anglaise.
