We are now wrapping up the World Number 2016 which is a 9 (2016=2+0+1+6=9). The 9 World Number brings things to an end to get us ready for new beginnings. And if you’ve been working hard at something for the last 9 years, this was a time for you to get some sort of payoff for all your hard work.
I think of the Broncos and the Quarterback Peyton Manning. He was in a Personal year of 9, and everyone knew that because he had turned 40, this would be his final season, and the Broncos won the Super Bowl! And then there’s the Cubs—it had been 108 (1+0+8=9) years since they won the World Series—and as we all know, they had their big win in this Year of 9 as well!
This was also a year for many people to cross over and move on to their next spiritual level—David Bowie, Prince, Glenn Frey, Patty Duke, Leonard Cohen, and Alan Rickman all come to mind. It was also a year to catch those who had been up to no good. A good example of that would be Wells Fargo and the way they had to let 5,300 employees go because of a scam. They had forced their employees to set up two million fake accounts and charge customers fake fees. The uproar was so loud, the CEO had to step down, too.
The anger and frustration that people have been feeling all year came to a head during the Presidential election cycle which was emotionally very draining for so many of us. I did find it fascinating that, although Donald Trump won the Electoral College, Hillary Clinton won the popular vote. They both have a 9 Maturity Number in their Numerology Blueprints and I believe that is how they ended up in this election cycle together in the Year of 9.
What we have learned by this experience is that hate and anger is not the way to live our lives, and no matter what our differences, we must try and find some common ground. In the month of December (a 3 month), it is time for us to reclaim our sense of humor and reconnect with the people in our lives who matter to us.
In January, we are entering the year 2017 (2+0+1+7= 10, then reduce down to a single digit, 1+0=1) which breaks down to the number 1. For those of you who felt you couldn’t function in the year 2016 and couldn’t think clearly, the fog is lifting.
If you didn’t feel motivated in the World Number 9, you will be in the new year. You will feel stronger and more focused. It will be a time to concentrate on your physical body, mental health, and spirituality. The World Number 1 invites you to take control of your life and do something positive with it. It is a time for new beginnings and so, get ready to hit the ground running! If there’s a project you have had on your mind but never got started on it, this is the year to do so.
If there’s a book you want to write, this is the year to write it. If you’ve been in a bad relationship and it feels you have come to a dead end, this is the year to end it. It’s a time to look in the mirror and ask yourself, what will make me happy? And during this World Number 1, while you are focused on taking care of yourself, make sure you make time for the other people in your life as well.
In the Month of January which is also the 1 Month, you will find that you have more energy. You will not feel as emotionally overwhelmed, as you did during the World Number 9. On that happy note, here’s to you having a phenomenal New Year 2017!
